For 32 years, I have created art for It Takes Two. I couldn't be more proud of the work. The company has supported my inspirations as well as exploring new techniques which I developed from a diverse art career including gallery showings, a Professor of Art at several universities, and more.

Living in the Upper Midwest, I was raised in a loving and very artistic family. Home is where I learned to draw at an early age. My father was my mentor. He too was an artist, spending World War II designing war bond posters which are a part of the permanent Smithsonian collection.
My artistic style is clean and somewhat contemporary, yet adaptable. All hand drawn – nothing mechanical or AI. I enjoy focusing on the "life's occasions" - both happy and sad. When the art and message come together perfectly, it feels a great success. Several of my designs have stayed in print for decades and continue to sell well.
Most important to me is ending each day with a quiet heart, thanking God for the inspiration and the talent He has given me knowing I made someone happy conveying "life's occasions".
