I like fun, whimsy and try to pass that on through my art.

I am from New Jersey, born and raised at the Jersey Shore, but currently residing in southwestern New Jersey where there is a ton of farmland. I began creating art ever since I picked up my first crayon and never turned back LOL! My mother kept a journal of my artwork through the years & the first one she saved was a Christmas tree I drew before age 2 (and it actually looks like a Christmas Tree!) I have always taken any Art class available in High School. I never did attend college, but still always drawing and creating none the less.

When I got married and started to have children, I began a Wall Mural business that I enjoyed tremendously for many years. Body got older, not able to stand on ladders all day anymore; so I ended my Mural business sadly. But, no worries, my artwork continued through my website and my ETSY shop; taking orders for handpainted Pet Portraits was and still is a very popular item.
I started to reach out to Manufacturer's to see if anyone would like to License my Artwork for home products, stationery, greeting cards, etc., Lo and behold....It Takes Two! was one of my FIRST Licensing partners.
I find inspiration for my art through many channels. My love for all animals is a big one for why I paint so many whimsically adorable animals for a lot of my artwork. I try to incorporate my cute animals into everyday items and scenes(ex: in a coffee cup, in a planter, sitting on a mushroom, peeking out of a spaghetti bowl, and more) I like fun, whimsy and try to pass that on through my art. My hope is that my artwork brings joy and happiness to the receiver/collector.
Artistic style: Whimsically Adorable!!!!
It has been almost 3 years, working with It Takes Two!
I don't think I have any particular piece of my art that is special to me....I love when I start painting an animal that just started as a simple pencil sketch and it turns into the cutest, most alive, character right in front of my eyes; it just "Becomes".
My art has been licensed through Wall Art Manufacturers, Greeting Card companies, Wrapping Paper companies. I am always looking for other companies that many love to work with my art. I hope my art makes people SMILE!
I do not have a personal website anymore, I just have an ETSY shop and an Online Portfolio (link below) http://www.artwanted.com/outtatheblue/gallery/
