Product arrived about a week ago and is every bit as wonderful as I’d hoped it would be. I am spoiled rotten. This is exactly why I run a “Mom and Pop Shop” type business. In our world of cell phones and email, “communication” is cheap and easy–but what people are starved for is “connection.” A card is a card, but when there is relationship and a story behind it, people respond. It is my job to create that connection with my customers. After 5 years in business, we are now to the point that people come in, tell me the situation and who the card is for, whether they want it silly, scriptural or sentimental, and I am able to bring them card samples until they either begin laughing or crying–then we know we’ve made the connection! They not only have a card, but an experience to share with others.
