Our Greeting Card Artists

It takes two started with just…two: Georgia Rettmer was admired by family and friends for her unique torn paper designs. As a teenager, her daughter, Kimberly Rinehart, gave the heartfelt poems and verses she wrote to family as gifts.

Since this team presented their first greeting cards in 1984, the it takes two family has grown.

We’ve added a wonderful mix of complementary styles and art mediums. To stay true to the distinct torn-paper art that represented our first cards, our artists’ styles are always unique. We never overlap style or feel. We credit our expanded products and audience today to this family of creative resources.
